“One should give and one should enjoy; wealth should not just be hoarded. The honey of the bee is eaten by another; what is the point of merely storing it?” — From the Panchatantra

Ancient wisdom teaches us that wealth has only three destinies: to be given away, to be enjoyed, or to be lost. While many possess wealth, it takes a truly great heart to dedicate it to a noble cause.

Once again, Mrs Sushila Rai and Mr Narendra Rai have demonstrated their immense generosity. During yesterday's press conference and briefing, they pledged a contribution of £1,015.00 towards a historic project: the construction of a statue of Kulbir Thapa VC.

Kulbir Thapa was the first Nepalese soldier to be awarded the Victoria Cross, Britain's highest military decoration, for his extraordinary bravery during the First World War. His statue will be erected at Princes Gardens in Aldershot, serving as a permanent tribute to our ancestors' valour and the enduring bond between our communities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sushila Di and Narendra Bhena for their unwavering support of this community initiative.

How You Can Help
